They asked

200,000 trees are felled in the UK annually to produce paper receipts. Yocuda, the leading digital receipts provider, wanted to put this statistic front and centre of a campaign designed to spark national media attention, position Yocuda as a leading retail technology provider and showcase evolving consumer attitudes towards receipts. With was tasked with delivering tier-one media moments across the UK and France to elevate a seemingly mundane topic in the customer journey into a story that made the case for digital receipt adoption across retail.

We delivered

We adopted a traditional press office approach, using data-led storytelling to drive media engagement. At the heart of the campaign was Yocuda’s Consumer Attitudes to Digital Receipts 2024 report, which played directly into media and consumer appetite for sustainability narratives. This approach led to a national UK exclusive with This Is Money (Daily Mail) and over 150 reader comments sparking debate on the topic, top-tier coverage in Forbes and Journal du Net in France, and 100% of articles across 22 national and trade outlets describing Yocuda as a digital receipts leader.
