IFA Berlin, one of the world’s largest consumer tech shows, wanted to come back with a bang following shows that were heavily impacted by Covid-19. IFA’s most significant goal was to build upon the existing German media footprint and expand into wider global territories in order to continue attracting the world’s largest brands. This included national titles, Tier 1 Tech Trade media as well as influencers with a global or UK based audience. Coinciding with the expansion of their non-German footprint was the consistent delivery of key messages, such as ‘global’, ‘world-leading’ and ‘innovation.’
Understanding IFA’s goal allowed us to develop highly targeted media lists and create personalised pitches to our ‘dream’ journalists in the UK and Germany. Through using IFA’s messaging and providing early insights, unprecedented access to IFA management and exhibitors, as well as on-site aid we were able to secure a number of journalists from the UK’s biggest national papers, including the Daily Mail, and tech publications.
Through social media monitoring we delivered two tech influencers, with great standing in the tech and broadcast TV industry, from the UK with a combined audience of 400k followers. This led to over 23 posts across multiple platforms showcasing the latest and greatest technology at IFA 2023.
